Closing in on our 1st Birthday!!!
Wow! Can you believe our babies are getting close to thier first birthday already? I am amazed at how much they have grown this last year. They continue to melt our hearts daily! I'm not sure if it's Anna Claire's diva attitude, Price being my biggest fan, Finn's adorable laugh, or Carter's kisses that does it the most...but life is great!!
I need some ideas for thier birthday party....so if you have any...please share. I am definitely not very creative. We are thinking just plain and simple. We really plan on it being a day to not only celebrate our little Quad Squad but also a day to thank thier army of supporters. I was afraid it would be a year of survival...but with all of your prayers and support it has gone way beyond that!
We appreciate you all!
Also, I would like for you to all pray for a precious little boy and his family..He is going to be having surgery next week...It will be a long, hard road to get through recovery but he is a tough little man.....We are here for you guys, Stace!! We love you, Cane!! We can't wait to see your smile again soon, little buddy!

Quads 1st Fourth of July
Who says the beach is relaxing??
Life is great! We all decided to take a relaxing trip to the beach. I had a CE course there and THOUGHT it was a great idea for us to all make the trip. WOW! It took us 10 hours to make a 6 hour trip...lol..but it was fun! We think we did the same things we do at home just had a nicer view. The kids LOVED the pool! Price is definitely our water baby...he didn't want to leave. Carter just wanted to drink the water like a dog. We had my parents with us...THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!! We couldn't have made it without them. We tried to get those perfect beach pictures everyone always gets...it didn't really work out for us..lol...it was TOO hot and TOO sandy...imagine that...lol.

Our Special Nurse, Katherine!
As you know, Price was sick a couple of weeks ago and had to spend some time in the ER and hospital. Benjy and I were very concerned about him. When we were brought into the ER, we had the best blessing ever! We had our very own special nurse! It was great not only having a very gifted nurse...but having a nurse who knows and cares for us! I can't describe the relief it was to see her face.
Katherine,we so very APPRECIATE you! We would rather see you in church than in the ER, but you were such a blessing that day to us! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!

1/2
Been a long time since I've been here, sorry for that, but here's a quick update for those few who still check in from time to time. Our babies turned 1/2 yesterday (March 26). For some reason kids' ages are usually expressed in terms of fractions, so I thought it appropriate to point out that they are now 1/2. Tomorrow I will be 45 5/12. Much like babies are considered in terms of length, rather than height. Would I say I'm 71" long? No, I'm 5'11" tall. Of course if our kids were measured in the horizontal position they would range from only 6 to 8 inches tall. Anyhow, we have made it through half a year, yet we remember Birth Day as if it were the day before. It's amazing how much these babies have not only grown, but how they've changed. How they continue to develop and learn something new every day. One of the biggest thrills, at least for me is that look of wonder when they experience something new for the very first time. You may have to be a parent to understand this, but it causes you to not want to miss any firsts. Likely my favorite part of the day is the very beginning of it (although going to sleep at the end is up there too), because we have some really happy and pleasant babies. The boys always wake up smiling almost instantaneously, and what a treat that is! Anna Claire, on the other hand is very sleepy-headed in the morning and you have got to work for it, but trust me, if you haven't seen that million-dollar smile, it's worth every bit of the effort it takes to coax it out of her. She's too smart for her own good, I think she's ready to smile already, she just fights it till she can't contain it, then it just spills out all over you. Makes my day. She has got me smoted. You know what I mean.
We are quickly approaching the day we get to come out and discover more new things, hopefully RSV and flu season are winding down. If we can only get Price to behave and stay out of the hospital. Thanks to all of you who prayed for him, and thought about him and us during those horrible few days. Our hope is to begin to get the babies out in April, and we can hardly wait. I know there are still so many people waiting to meet them. Jo Ann and I, as you know, were very cautious and protective to keep them as well as we could, we appreciate your understanding. Also we are more grateful than I can describe for all of you who have helped us, encouraged us and prayed for us for so long. We look forward to seeing you soon. I realize pictures are the best part of this blog, I will have some posted possibly tonight, no later than the weekend. Benjy

Enjoy the Moment!
Life is amazing as a mom!! I LOVE IT! I tear up thinking about how blessed we are with our beautiful babies! Nothing melts your heart like the feel of your baby patting you while you rock them...or the smiles they give so freely...or that smell that only a baby has...or the feel of your little one cuddled in your arms...or just getting to watch them sleep!! Enjoy the moment! If I could ever give anyone advice on life it is to simply enjoy the moment! Life changes fast, and I'm sure we miss many things because we are too busy or stressed to notice or enjoy those things! Benjy and I will celebrate four years of marriage soon. Have we enjoyed those special little moments together or simply let them pass? I know that it is human nature to focus on things that are stressful or not quite like you like them...but look at what you are missing! I think having babies will change how you look at life. As someone who struggled with infertility and prayed without ceasing to be blessed with a child, I will enjoy the moment! I think those of us that have been given the opportunity to be parents owe this to those who are currently facing that same struggle, those who have given up on the battle, or those who have lost a child! Benjy and I have been living with so little sleep that it's amazing that we still know our names...but WOW...look at what we have....we have four healthy babies that love us without end...that have faces that light up just by us walking into the room.....we ENJOY THE MOMENT! I encourage you all to go home tonight and focus on how we have all been blessed....God has given us more than we could ever deserve...and we need to take it in and live life with gratitude! I'm tired of turning on the news and hearing about how bad our world is today...how we are in a recession, ect.....those things do not matter...what matters is the love that surrounds you! I know many of you that read this blog are either parents of multiples or soon to be parents of multiples.....you are in for the biggest gift ever! There are lots of new things to keep you busy...like all the laundry, dirty bottles, mixing formula, changing diapers, ect....but I can't describe how wonderful it is to be us! We have such an amazing group of people around us...our families, our church family, and our friends...they help us with EVERYTHING! They allow us to enjoy the moment more often. THANK YOU!!
I appreciate all of you who pray for us and love our babies as much as we do....Please ENJOY THE MOMENT!
