Our Special Nurse, Katherine!

As you know, Price was sick a couple of weeks ago and had to spend some time in the ER and hospital. Benjy and I were very concerned about him. When we were brought into the ER, we had the best blessing ever! We had our very own special nurse! It was great not only having a very gifted nurse...but having a nurse who knows and cares for us! I can't describe the relief it was to see her face.
Katherine,we so very APPRECIATE you! We would rather see you in church than in the ER, but you were such a blessing that day to us! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!

1/2

Been a long time since I've been here, sorry for that, but here's a quick update for those few who still check in from time to time. Our babies turned 1/2 yesterday (March 26). For some reason kids' ages are usually expressed in terms of fractions, so I thought it appropriate to point out that they are now 1/2. Tomorrow I will be 45 5/12. Much like babies are considered in terms of length, rather than height. Would I say I'm 71" long? No, I'm 5'11" tall. Of course if our kids were measured in the horizontal position they would range from only 6 to 8 inches tall. Anyhow, we have made it through half a year, yet we remember Birth Day as if it were the day before. It's amazing how much these babies have not only grown, but how they've changed. How they continue to develop and learn something new every day. One of the biggest thrills, at least for me is that look of wonder when they experience something new for the very first time. You may have to be a parent to understand this, but it causes you to not want to miss any firsts. Likely my favorite part of the day is the very beginning of it (although going to sleep at the end is up there too), because we have some really happy and pleasant babies. The boys always wake up smiling almost instantaneously, and what a treat that is! Anna Claire, on the other hand is very sleepy-headed in the morning and you have got to work for it, but trust me, if you haven't seen that million-dollar smile, it's worth every bit of the effort it takes to coax it out of her. She's too smart for her own good, I think she's ready to smile already, she just fights it till she can't contain it, then it just spills out all over you. Makes my day. She has got me smoted. You know what I mean.
We are quickly approaching the day we get to come out and discover more new things, hopefully RSV and flu season are winding down. If we can only get Price to behave and stay out of the hospital. Thanks to all of you who prayed for him, and thought about him and us during those horrible few days. Our hope is to begin to get the babies out in April, and we can hardly wait. I know there are still so many people waiting to meet them. Jo Ann and I, as you know, were very cautious and protective to keep them as well as we could, we appreciate your understanding. Also we are more grateful than I can describe for all of you who have helped us, encouraged us and prayed for us for so long. We look forward to seeing you soon. I realize pictures are the best part of this blog, I will have some posted possibly tonight, no later than the weekend. Benjy
